Being a mama can be tough, but always remember in the eyes of your child, no one does it better than you.β

Motherhood is the realest hood. Truly, it gets incredibly wild sometimes. Lenny turned 1.5 last week, and he feels like a different child. He’s been busier than ever before. And he’s problem-solving in new ways. A couple days ago, he pushed his stroller to our front door. He then stood on it, and tried to unlock our front door. I wasn’t ready.
It is easy to be discouraged by rough parenting days. Especially when you’re trying so hard, but things still don’t go the way you want them to go. However, I know that my efforts aren’t in vain. And that one day, Lenny will look back and appreciate my efforts to be an incredible mom for him.
So today, I am choosing to live in abundance. I am celebrating my role as a mom. And I am reminding myself that I am doing a great job. And listen closely, mama — you are, too. Here are a few affirmations to encourage you.
I have been equipped with the tools to parent my child.
I am a gentle, conscious parent.
I am a loving, patient and understanding mom.
I am growing through the challenges of motherhood.
I am the mother that my child needs.
Here are a few pictures of Lenny’s first Valentine’s basket. I had so much fun putting it together. To shop Lenny’s basket, click here for my LTKI page.
Since Valentines Day is right around the corner, Iβve teamed up with some awesome mamas to share sweet gift ideas for your little ones (on a budget). Check out their blogs by clicking on the picture below, and let us know your favorite item in each basket.

Keep blooming,
