December is upon us! And it is indeed the most wonderful time of the year. If you’re like our family, you look forward to having an abundance of quality time with the people you love. This year, we are hoping to make lots of memories that Lenny will be able to look back on when he’s older. Here are a few activities that we’re looking forward to this holiday season.

Tree Farm
A trip to a tree farm can be so magical during the holidays. Even if you already have a tree, they usually have other activities to make the visit more fun. Meeting Santa, feeding animals, and even train rides, just to name a few popular attractions. Be sure to read up on which activities are available on weekdays versus weekends.

Drive-In Movie
Drive-in movie theaters always remind me of old shows I watched on Nick at Nite as a kid. And they are wonderful for families because you can bring your own snacks, wear whatever you want and still enjoy the movie.
*This activity is easiest to find by searching the name of your own county or town. I’ve found that a lot of cities will host special holiday movie events outside their city hall or library.

Other Fun Activities
- Host a Movie Night
- Visit a Museum, Zoo or Aquarium
- See a Puppet Show
- See a Nativity Play
- Attend a Tree Lighting
- Host an Ugly Christmas Sweater Party
- Host a Painting Party
- Attend a Holiday Parade
- Volunteer in Your Community
What are your favorite holiday activities? I’d love to hear about them in the Comment section below.
