Maker God, thank you for all that you have formed and shaped. Thank you for all that you have provided, as well as all that you’ve kept us from. Thank you for knowing us from the very beginning. Thank you for being willing to fight for us. There is so much that many of us don’t understand about you or your Word, but we’re grateful for the space to be confused, angry and to ask questions. Thank you for allowing us to wrestle with faith each day, and still receive your love.
Savior God, thank you for being our friend. Thank you for your constant advocacy for us. We are eternally grateful that you would die for us while knowing how much we would give into our human condition. Please help us to live a life worthy of your sacrifice. Thank you for your incredible example, and for living a life of love and service to others. Thank you for empowering us to lead with love and humility instead of pride. Please heal our bodies, our minds, our spirits and our hearts. Please heal our world. We delight and find joy in you.
Mother Comforter, thank you for always being beside us. Thank you for walking with us, and showing up in a way that only you can. We are grateful for how you know what we need, and advocate on our behalf. You are a mother who carries us when the evil realities of life crush our spirit and our hope. You replace our tears with gratitude and joy. Please touch us where it hurts, and heal our brokenness. Continue to hold our hands, and lead us through this and every season.
